GTS is throwing off my Pokemon trading groove...

Apparently I can't trade my extra Darkrai on the GTS because they're "special".  Someone online said you can trade them to another person directly.  I hope that's true because I bought an extra game and used the code to get another one and I don't necessarily need the extra Darkrai.  I wanted to trade it for other pokemon I needed.  I was able to transfer the extra from one game card to another using the Pokebank and there were no pop-ups saying I couldn't.  GTS is totally throwing off my trading groove because almost everyone wants Darkrai, Meloetta or Genesect for the pokemon I need but since those are all going to be event pokemon, even if I get extras I won't be able to trade them.

If anyone is interested I'm really trying to get ALL the Vivillon forms.  I mostly want Fancy and Pokeball forms but everyone only wants Genesect or Meloetta for them.  Anyone want to trade me one for a Darkrai?

Yeah the GTS thing kinda sucks, but I see why they did it? I mean if not, the special 20th anniversary pokemon would completely saturate the trades and loose all value xD.

But yes, you can trade them directly to other people, Iv done it a few times.
I think most people who ask for event pokemon in GTS are just doing it to troll people.

As far as Vivillion forms, Which are you still looking for, I have a few doubles id be willing to trade.

I was also considering "cheating" to get the first three by changing the location of my 3DS and filling up some Pokebank boxes with the ones that are harder to get and then flooding the GTS with them so other people could get them, too.  Unfortunately, there's no way to get the Fancy or Pokeball patterns except by trading for them unless they decide to do another release of them with them at some point with the new game.

Just as a heads up, there's a person trading Scatterbugs and she says they're Ocean, but they're not.  I don't know if you need that one but don't trade for them.  The user name is Evelyn   The one I got from her ended up being Modern and I thought that maybe she had just labeled it wrong but when I looked at Scatterbugs again, she had another one up but this time she wanted a Delphox for it so she's scamming people.
