Have her. I love the Tales ponies because I love the show so much and wish I had them all mint, but I don't. My Bon Bon isn't so bad except that she has a main and tail trim. They are so expensive to get upgrades on. I need upgrades on her, Patch who also has a haircut), and Melody (who has horridly frizzy hair).

I think Bon Bon's hair might be a unique shade, too. Something to do with the change in materials in the later years...?

Sister and I had her from new. We actually both had her, to save fighting, so we have one each. I also have the Dutch variant version, which I think is called Snoepjes? I think I might have her mint on card, but I always confuse if it's her or Hartjes I have, as they're both similar colour bodies...

She is my favorite of the Seven Tales ponies and I think in the top 20 of all classic G1 ponies.  You throw the nirvana ponies ponies into the mix, well then I don't know where she would fall

She's . . . okay, I guess?  I dunno.  Something about her symbol colors make her look washed out.  Like, I feel like they should be more vibrant.  I love Candy-Pony though.

Still disappointed these ponies weren't in baby pony molds.

Well, the TV show made them ten, if I remember rightly, so yeah, they should've been baby ponies. But I actually love the Tales ponies because Hasbro went back to basics. I think I'd have got sick of them if the mane seven (xD) idea had taken hold and been around for longer, but it only covered a couple of them for 2 years, so I like them as they are.

Maybe them being ten years old was more of a problem in the animation, on reflection, seeing all the things they did. Unless it was in horse years..?

In the episode where Bon Bon cheats on a test, they're doing a really low level times table, so ten seems about right.  Even if they hadn't said their age on the show, I would say they're no older than (the equivalent of) 12.  Their "relationship" problems and friendship problems ("I won't be friends with you if you're friends with him") were pure middle school, lol.

The only out of place thing was that some of them had part-time jobs.  Maybe Ponyland doesn't have child labor laws?

Maybe you will get her for the holidays. anyhow I dont have this pony but I have Sweetheart and I just thrilled to have her.  I like the Tales ponies but they are very sought after. I dont know if I will buy another yet.
