I like her, but those colors don't really scream "midnight" to me. Sunset or twilight, maybe, but midnight?

As much as I want to like her with her name and symbol, I have to pass on the gradient ponies. I like my ponies to be one solid color.

Yes! She's very pretty, even though she's pink. Mine has a really unfortunate price written in permanent marker (from Goodwill, of course) on her non-display side that I'm still trying to clean off, but she still displays nicely.

Yeah, I was thinking that "midnight sun" areas would be the only spot where the coloring + name would make sense. LOL.

I remember when she came out. I was a big G3 collector at the time. "Midnight Dream!? That sounds amazing, I wonder what color... oh, of course, pink." But seriously, for a pony named Midnight Dream, wouldn't you expect dark blue or purple or something?

You should. Hasbro has always been very weird about star and moon ponies being light or bright colored. It's an eerie beauty, but I wish they'd make em darker. Could you imagine her in gradient dark blues and purples?
