Minecraft Lego, minifig help

So ill try to keep this short. My son's birthday is on the 1st of december. It's been a long tradition that one of his gifts is an advent calendar. He's gotten many of the lego ones, but I feel like at this point, they're just a lot of repeat items for him. (he has a LOT of legos) One set he has none of, is the Minecraft series, and I KNOW he wants them.. Well I thought I would make him a minecraft lego advent calendar.

I need help.. As much of a minecraft addict as I am.. I have no idea what's available in the lego series. Iv made a list of 24 items that I would like to put in it, but i have no idea if these actually exist in the series lol. I know ebay you can find a lot of generic minecraft "minifigures" but I would like to keep it official.

Ill probably buy a few sets, use the figures for the callender, and just give the remainder of the sets to him for christmas. I also figured Ill probably have to buy a few extra characters on ebay, or maybe even here if anyone is selling.

So here is my list! Please help me xD if you know a lot about this series, if some of these dont exist, and if you have better ideas I can add to it.

We just launched a new website all about Minecraft. Here's our Lego Database. I hope you can find what you're looking for or else you can always ask us. The packaging shows which figures are included. The ones on Ebay or most of the time bootleg so I shouldn't trust those.

If you want many in one go I would suggest the Village although it's quite expansive being one of the largest sets. Anyways I've decided to tell you which figures are included in which set so it's easier for you to figure it out. Both Alex and Steve are listed several times but some of them are different in terms of Armor etc. Hope this will help you.

I was planning on getting him a few sets, taking the guys/things out, for the calendar, and then giving him the rest of the sets for christmas. :p But I also hoped to find a few strays on Ebay, but it seems like a bit of a task, and not very cheap. haha.
