It's in my son's piggy bank for him to use in the future.

For the most part, I just use my card, but whenever I have cash, I'll just put the change in a coin pouch in my glovebox. Sometimes I'll take the pennies out of it and put them all in a piggy bank.

I use a mix of cash and debit. I use to use mostly cash, but after getting a new bank account I find myself using debit more. It really depends what I'm buying and what options a shopping location has available.

The only real downside to debit is that you have to pay for it. Knowing what it's actually costing you, and making sure you're not paying a ton of unnecessary fees, is key.

My literal change, I dump it in my purse. I then use it in the vending machines at work for snacks and sodas, or other foods like nasty soy burgers when I am too lazy to go out for lunch. XD Those Big Az burgers are disgusting but they fill you up. And they don't look nearly as good as the picture.

I try to save my quarters for things that need them like parking, but I use my smaller change pretty often if something only needs like 20 cents or less I always have it.

I use my change unless I get a few too many pennies, at which point I put them in a jar. At one point I had over $20 in pennies in it.

I have a piggy bank (literally a coin bank shaped like a pig because why not) and all our spare change goes in there. I do keep some on me in a coin purse, but every few years I cash in the piggy bank at the actual bank.

We don't have change often b/c we pay most things with debit/credit - usually just from laundry. I'll save up the small stuff over the year for when the ice cream truck comes around in the summer, since it only takes cash.

Quarters used to go to laundry, but now I have a washer and dryer so they are saved for the vending machine. Pennies always go to charity. I save up my pennies until I find a place I can "dump" them -- the last time I was at a wildlife reserve they had one of those boxes for cash donations and I think I gave them several dollars in pennies!

I use both cash and credit cards.  I put all my loose change in a piggy bank.  When my goddaughter visits for the summer or Christmas, we go to the coin sort at the bank and I let her spend it as an allowance.

I picked 'use it when buying things', which is true most of the time, although we also have a small jar. I call it bus money. :D But I rarely remember to use any of it, or put my change in, so it doesn't really fill up.

I mostly use the card but I try to keep a small amount of cash with me at all times, for some reason I prefer to use the card only for purchases over 5€. I buy a lot of small stuff (snacks, bus tickets etc.) so coins are no problem.

It's called the carboot sale fund :)

Although I also put change in charity jars, I prefer to do charity stuff online and I don't really like getting my purse out on the street in London, so not so much this any more unless it's a pot on the till when I'm buying something in a shop or a restaurant.

I used to need it for the bus but now I have my pass and most of the time if I need to use a bus outside of the hours the pass is valid, I'm in London, and that's a cash-free zone; it's all contactless or oyster.

So yep. It goes in the carboot sale fund.
