Hello!
I want to share some of my customs here. Even if they are just the first steps l am really proud of some of them.
The first ones, where the flutter ponies wings. Which l made myself

Once l knew how to make wings l found it that we could have flutter ponies bigger and boy flutters so l turned one earth pony into it. Male flutter might be bigger than girls...

Then l changed the gender of some of the ponies since l found it ridiculous that boy ponies where only earth ponies... so l decided we would have male ponies two as pegasi or sea ponies and unicorns. I made them ties to "put" their gender out. (This was my first rogue action).
Still only the ones from the tv show keep their gender, the other may be boys instead of girls ^^

Then l decided that l could try to twinkle eye more ponies than the official ones, so male ponies, some baby ponies and earth ponies came out.

When deflocking Ribbons, sorry for those who disapprove, but l loooove deflocking ss ponies, l like having them different to me and with all their colour; l thought since her head came out so easily to try something else.

So l made my first alicorn, or hybrid pegasus/unicorn, mixing nss Wind Whistler and Coco berry. Which turned out great.
Then l tried the same with a bait Wave Runner and Pinwheel, and this is what l got, a beautiful couple (yes they got twinkle eyes)

The latest custom is Ohm, he is from a mix between Galaxy and Whizzer, and I didn't want him to be earth pony so I turned him into a Flutter boy. He even got a new mark.

A few day back I found back my Flurry, from my childhood, but her hair was  and her wings got ripped off, which I regret, but now, look at all the process

After rehab my Flurry I put my hands back on my first Rosedust to customize her into this flutter pony, called Orangefruit.

A few weeks ago I bought from Shaliken a beautiful brown Gusty. And since she had no hair I rehaired her, twice, because the first time the hair I bought was to thick so she looked like a punk pony. So her new look is at it goes. She is my first evil pony, there had to be some bad ones, so here she is, called Storm :-)

Since baby Gusty NBBE is so expensive and hard to find, I took the next best thing and made my own.

They are made from plastic bottles as you said, with nail polish, choosing the plastic color and the nail polish color is what makes them look that way :-)

She is marked Spain, and I got her on a bundle with Gingerbread and baby Applejack for nothing. Never could find any other cheap bundle like that.

She looks to be in very good condition, considering she always tends to yellow marks and so. She is a sought after nirvana pony.

Well, she is still blue and her hair is really nice, she was really dirty when I got her and now she looks pretty. Good to know I have a special (double special) pony in my herd.

Yeah, well, modified nirvanas tend to drop their value. So I'm not sure how valuable she will now be. But she is indeed pretty. Congrats for her.
