Modern Barbie horses are just too ugly for my tastes.

the prices have a very wide range ,everywhere, some want 20 for each horse , and others give you 7 horses for 20

is all kinds of sellers, and the market is very active, sometimes I think I would wait for them to get relisted and they end up being bought up , or sometimes they get relisted from 20 to .99 and get bought up with one bid and I missed it again LOL, but there are one as much as 250 dllrs , as a matter of fact I was just able to find this one in Germany finally to a nice price and with a seller that was not afraid to send it to USA.

Horse 182/183

1990 Lucky Barbie Horse
I think he is the only Pinto Barbie Horse ever.( Ginger ,I think was also her name in some other countries)
I believe this one is another European Exclusive, as well as both Dallas 1985 versions, this one seems to only come up in Germany, I had bought one in poor condition, but the seller listed a second one in mint condition, she was about to send the other one and asked me if I wanted to wait until the second auction was done, so both could come together, super nice of her

I ended up winnning the second one, so here they are

Yes, Indeed, some are way overpriced I think , I saw some auctions for some horses made in 2001, MIB each one sold for more than 100,I bought them last year for 20 dllrs each MIB as well

It is pretty cool that they used the 1980 mold from the 1982 Dallas / Midnight on Lucky
I don't think they ever used it again, it is not a horrible mold but the stability gets compromised easily as well as the Champion mold which the used 5 times , so that is maybe the reason why my favorite pose was used the most.

Those horses turned out beautifully!

Thanks for sharing your pictures as they really show the journey taken during their make-over. It also gives folks like me inspiration to do similar things to transform my ponies.

I love the spa-day photos of them drip-drying their hair!

Gorgeous styling of the curls, too

I gave up on instagram, the pic taken in the app are not longer nice, i have to take pics on the cam and then get them there, which is better at the end , I can use edit options on the cam area and sometimes they are way better than filters

Thank you , the ponies trained me 5 yrs to be ready for more hair volume and length

I do enjoy the spa ,maybe too much sometimes,I think in the spa process I get very attached to the horses, ponies and dolls being cleaned/styled

1992 Allegra Rose (pink variant )
I finally found Pink Allegra in Germany, I was lucky that a seller helped me get this one , the seller of the pintos was very helpful and she sent the payment to the seller of the Pink Allegra,after I convinced that seller to mail it to usa, I was needing someone to make a bank transfer to her for the payment, as some sellers do not accept paypal or want to mail international

. and after all that she made it home

They do have a great "toy" life, international flights to move to another country ,crowns, carriages, gowns, pretty horses ,spas to make them look pretty and clean for pictures to be posted on the internet over and over

Indeed so many nice ones that never were released here , some pf the USA ones were not released over there, but there are more European releases for sure , I found a couple of websites made by collectors of all the horses ,that is how I could get info on them, even though they are just reflecting of the ones they collected not of the exact number of releases but very few were missed by them.

this is the one I have used the most , keep translating it all the time as I don't speak German

A second Dallas surfaced and I got it, with help from the very nice seller who sold me another Allegra and some saddles that are the original ones for Grey Dallas as the ones he came with are not Barbie I don't think , both came from Germany again

Snow Dance / Blizzard (EU) Made in Italy 1991 # 7

I have 7 of Blizzard /SnowDance, this one was an impulse , I saw it for very cheap BIN on Ebay and I just got it , the horse has very little mane hair, i was very surprised by that , but the horse was new and well not all the horses are identical, some have longer hair, some have shorter tails , looks like they got their personal touch by the workers I think, LOL

I bought the Songbird Barbie and inside her pamphlet I learned about her carriage, I looked for one for a while and caught one at a relisted reduced priced auction and won it

Lila the Unicorn ,Barbie in Swan Lake

I rescued this one from Mercari , I was browsing, it looked dirty but new ,so I got a nice deal for it
it was grossly dirty, I skipped the before pics and I actually washed it outside first, then I gave it a second wash inside LOL, It was nice after that

like new
