By the way, does it work with sunshine ponies? Mine have nice color hair and the white stripe is awful. Thought for Beachball it changes in the sun, for Wave Runner the mane does not change anymore

I wouldn't try it on Beachball, I've heard heat treating color change hair can cause it to stop working.
On sunshine i wouldn't have. But why not on so soft?

Heat only works a little bit on the color-change hair. It's a different type of nylon (if it's even nylon, I don't know) and is thicker than normal pony hair and it just doesn't flatten as well. Add in that the ends of it frizz exponentially easier than normal hair, and it just equals hair that is much more prone to damage. The good news is heat won't damage it further when applied correctly. An, also applied correctly, heat shouldn't do anything to the hair on a SS. If you're melting SS glue while flattening hair, you're doing something wrong.
