Are all Nirvanas Really Expensive?
« on: September 22, 2016, 03:12:45 PM »
Because the way I seem to percieve it is that they're these magical, rare gorgeous ponies that you have to pay up to the hundreds for.

I mean are there any for normal prices or are they only high priced collector's items these days?

I think most of the pricier nirvanas are ones that were made in different colors/poses from their US counterparts. There are plenty of cheaper nirvanas like most Mexican and some Italian ponies, like the collector pose 6 and earth ponies, rainbow hairs. I think the reason those are lower cost is because they are like the US versions except the differences on Italian ponies is that they will have ITALY on the bottom of their feet and blue eyes.

They are often poorer quality, if that's relevant, but I find the variations interesting. I've made some customs in alt poses inspired by more expensive nirvanas but I don't feel inspired to collect them.

There are plenty of nirvana ponies you can pick up for $15 or less. There are also plenty of nirvanas that go for four figures too! It all depends on which pony it is :)

The Italians for sure, some French, too. Nc/Spanish aren't terrible. A lot depends on what condition you're willing to accept. I highly suggest buying nirvanas on here since there are some great people on here.

Haha, nope! Jist like regular ponies, the price depends on the pony.  If you look, you can get a lot of the good condition Italian ponies for less than $20, and Italy Peachy is usually more like $5-10.

Not at all! There are of course some that are incredibly rare and/or pricey, but there are plenty that you can pick up for under $20. Italians and Mexicans can be good places to start for cheaper Nirvanas, but also some of the Spanish, Peru, Argentinian or even Brazilian can be picked up for not too much. The lower priced ones do tend to be the ones that are more similar to their standard counterparts, but they are no less pretty for that XD

The only ones I'd say are expensive without fail are South African and Japanese. Even Colombians, Venezuelans and Greeks, who are typically on the pricier end, have a few more affordable exceptions.
