What is this seller's feedback?  If they have excellent feedback is it possible that in your written communication there could be some language barrier issues that may make is seem that the seller is difficult when they  may not be?  I feel when you purchase an item off of ebay you should pay for your item and then if there is a problem you deal with that if it happens.  That is just the way I handle ebay.  It is not typical to purchase items on ebay and then turn around and say you don't want them anymore.  That is very frustrating to sellers and ebay is correct to tell you to pay for your items.

I agree with Tulagirl.  You won the items, so you should pay for them.  Then, if you don't receive the items after you've paid, Ebay will be more able and willing to help you get your money back.  But they have to have a reason to help you, and at this point, it seems more like a misunderstanding.  The lack of communication and/or your perception of his rudeness is not a reason for nonpayment.

Ebay is a binding legal contract.  You bid, you won, you pay.  If you don't pay, then the seller is within their rights to file a Non-Paying Bidder report.  It doesn't matter how rude they are, if you won the auction, you need to pay for it.

If you thought he wasn't a responsible seller you shouldn't have bought the item. But it's not fair of you to win their items then refuse to pay because you don't like the way they respond.

...i write to him many times so i tougth he wasnt responsable seller....

Can you elaborate on this?  What were you writing him about and what made you think he wasn't a responsible seller?  A little more information would help in giving advice here.  :)

Do you mean that you won the auction Friday and then asked to cancel the following Monday, or was there a whole week in between?
Because the seller could have been away for the weekend, so you might have been a bit quick to judge there

I also agree with this . If we see the messages you and the seller wrote to each other it will help us to be able to see why you might not think he is a responsible seller, and if it is just due to a language barrier, then we can  give you better advice on your situation  :awake:

When a seller cancels a transaction it lowers there seller rating on eBay as well. I know many sellers that do not like to cancel sales because of this. Did you use the request to cancel function on eBay?

I agree we need more info on the actual messages and the time frame.
