Little Fairy Doll ID?
« on: August 30, 2016, 05:08:08 PM »
Does anyone know what these little guys are called?

My mom put them in my stocking for Christmas a couple times. But I have no clue what they're called. I've been trying to locate the remaining 4 off and on for a few years but not knowing what they're called is making it rather difficult.

The blue one appears to be marked Mattel 2004, the yellow one is completely unmarked.

I do also have a piece of the packaging still.

I think those are Pretty B's (or they may  be called Mini B's)They were made for a short time by Mattel.

You actually have 2 different things there.

blue one is this:
http://peekaboo-petites.wikia.com/wiki/Sapphie

The yellow one is a fakie of that line and the backcard goes with it. I see them all the time at Family Dollar type places. The blue one of this line has a single ponytail and is different from the blue one you have.

So really you have the rest of the line the blue one is from:
http://peekaboo-petites.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Fairytopia_Jewels
as well as 5 of the fakies to track down.

Wardah is right. Not sure why I thought they were called Mini B's.

Fairytopia-  made in connection with Barbie from what I recall.  They're super cute.

It's not surprising since they used the same molds along with the Peekaboo Petites. I have a couple of Halloween Mini Bs and that was my first thought too but when I was searching which one it specifically was I found out it wasn't actually a Mini B.

Do you still find them, or is that more of a past thing? I know it's been awhile since I got the yellow one.

I saw something like them fairly recently.

Thanks, I'll have to take a walk down to one sometime (they're all kinda far from where I live) and see if they pop up :)

They seem to be one of those perennial fakies along with the LPS style dogs and the "Glamor Gals".
