Has anyone ordered from Cuddle Clones? (UPDATE! I Got Her!)

Bumping this to say that afterwards I had gone ahead and ordered one. The coupon was only good for 10 days so I figured now was the time. I am so glad I did! She arrived today - much earlier than expected and I just love her!

There are a few minor things they missed, but considering how complicated her fur is I'm not complaining. The size difference between them makes me laugh. They give you a drop down box with different weight ranges to pick from and I went with 0-10, but it's still so much bigger than her. She's a tiny kitty. All in all I highly recommend this for anyone on the fence about it. I'm definitely going to save up for one of my other cat

I got a $50 off coupon from Facebook and decided to finally get a Cuddle Clone of my eldest cat. I've been thinking about it for a long time. Her birthday is coming up and she's going to be 17 She's so frail (only 6.6 lbs) and I worry about her so much.

She's a grey & cream-ish tortie. The site has a huge gallery, most of the plushies look amazing but there are few that just don't look right in the face compared to the pictures of the pet. Since her fur is so complicated I'm a little nervous. Even with the coupon it's still a hefty price tag.

So I'm wondering if anyone here has ever ordered from them? What was your experience?

I have never heard of this, it's so interesting. I can't decide if something like this about my last cat or dog would be nice to have or if it would just be too sad for me, but it seems like it could be a real comfort to a lot of people. I haven't but if I had the money I would. Even if she doesn't look EXACTLY like your cat I doubt you'll regret it once she's gone. I know I would have loved one of my Lassie when she passed.

I have. I ordered my sister a sculpture of her cat for X mas. She said it was good except there was no white on the tip of his tail, which I forgot to mention when I ordered it.

I want to get a plushie made of Rosie - AK Malamute, but those are like $250

I´m sure a cat can be 25 if they feels good about their Life.

She was 6years already when I got her, and she lived a long happy healthy life with my son until he was about 11. I just don't have enough pictures to show off all her markings.

I only recently found out about this site myself. A semi cheaper option would be Petsies by Budsies (a company original created to bring kids art to life). However, cuddle clones seems to be much higher quality.

You could potentially work with an artist to create some references for her. It might be a little pricey and take a while since in this kind of situation there would be a lot of back and forth to get all the details right. But once you have the reference guide you could use that along with your photos to commission whatever memorial stuff you or you son wanted.

I only looked briefly but Cuddle Clone seems to accept drawings. Even if they don't there are tons of artists on places like Etsy that offer the same service.

I don't know why but I never realized there were places that created plushies based off of pets. I really, really want to have one made of my furbaby that passed away... now I have something else I need to save for, lol! How did you get the coupon..? Do they have a facebook that gives them out occasionally? ^^
