Missing Link Swap Pony for Archidraca - Big Brother Chopper (G1 Pegasus Brother)

I am so happy to have been able to paricipate in this year's Missing Link Swap.  The object of this Swap was to create a pony for an assigned partner that will fit in with an existing set made by Hasbro, as if it were a real setmate to the ponies actually produced by Hasbro. The partner was able to specify color preferences, set preferences, etc. 

My partner was Archidraca, and she had some great ideas and color preferences, one of which was a G1 big brother styled pegasus. I loved the idea, and had a bait on hand. 

I was in a bit of a slump trying to decide which direction to go for her custom, until one of the helicopter pilots from work stopped by my unit. I realized that there were no "pilot" ponies, and a helicopter would be very fitting for a Big Brother pegasus pony.

I tossed around a lot of color options before deciding on the final colors.  I sculpted Hasbro style wings (used a G1 Medley as a reference) rather than the big, elaborate, feathered wings we are all know and love, in an attempt to make him look more factory than custom.

I settled on some sunset-inspired colors that I hope Archidraca likes. He is a full body repaint with hand painted symbols and blushed cheeks.  He was rehaired in Dollyhair Peaches & Cream wit a stripe of Marshmallow.

I kind of love him, and his little wings.   :)
