I'm sorry you've had a tough time lately.

So your plight with art made me think of a scene in Kiki's Delivery Service and I couldn't find just that scene on YouTube to share, but I found another site with the script of the scene written out along with the site's author's thoughts on losing our "ability to fly".  Maybe it will help.
