New retro Starwberry Shortcake dolls pics. Pic Heavy

OMG this brings back so many memories! I loved SSC when I was a little girl. On a related note- has anyone seen the SSC style fakie dolls at the Dollar General stores? They are this mold, or very similar, but the have little bats or scars on their faces and spooky clothes. Sort of a MH and SSC mash up. I just might have to buy a set- they come 3 in a box.

love that blueberry and huckleberry's hats are made of fabric. might have to get the huckleberry set. but orange blossom was always my favorite as a kid. hope they have a re-release of her.

i am curious how this will effect the value of the original vintage ones. i have about 30 in box that i need to sell soon.

One of my biggest childhood regrets was getting rid of my SSC collection, and the original boxes! But I was only young. Then in adult life had to buy some back, but would love the original boxes, especially Orange Blossoms. I think their packaging was the best amongst the early 80s toys, which in general were much better designed than most modern stuff!
Hope we get this in England!

I think these are already popular. I was checking Toys R Us yesterday for some other stuff and the only items they had left out of these was the Strawberry/Huckleberry set with pets, Strawberry Shortcake/Lemon with pets the 3 pack and the Strawberry Shortcake set with the stove.

My Target got in the best friends sets (?) for $20/each:

Strawberry and Blueberry Baskets
Strawberry and Lemon Meringue
Strawberry and Huckleberry Pie

But they only had one of each set.  Meanwhile, the original Strawberry Shortcake from last year was clearanced at some Targets and gone from all of the Targets in my neighborhood (I live near 3) by last week.

I'm glad these are showing up at Target as well. My Targets also clearanced last year's Strawberry Shortcake doll so I wasn't sure if they would stock these.

Thanks to my friend Joyce (who works at Target) I was able to get the Blueberry Strawberry set!

They are currently selling the second they hit the shelves-  hopefully they will build up some stock at some point- the original classic looking doll also was sold out for a while until finally there were enough to make everyone shopping at a particular target happy

I am looking forward to the bake shop one- since she is actually wearing a different outfit from the regular classic dolls

I've been stalking my TRU for two weeks waiting for the single packs to come in. They finally got them on the shelf late this past week, so I bought the only Raspberry Tart they had. She smells so scrumptious! I love these rereleases! My mom bought me SSC herself last year, so I'm happy they are extending the line.

I didn't know Raspberry Tart had been released as a single I will have to add her to my wish list. My Toys R Us only had Strawberry Shortcake and Blueberry Muffin singles when I checked.
