Hello hello!  Just thought I'd share another.  This is Gray Day.  She was inspired by some vintage red winged blackbird artwork, found in an old 1960s era Ford Times catalog. 

She was originally a Butterscotch and her hair is an insane mix of DH Cherry Pie, DH Raincloud, RDUS Caviar, DH Arctic Frost, RDUS Cocoa, DH Candy Apple, DH Golden Delicious, DH Lemonade, DH Lemon Meringue, and RDUS Primrose Thrill.  She was painted with Vallejo artist acrylics and sealed with Testors dullcote.

Such a pretty scenery! Also that hair blend is epic, I don't think I have ever seen so many colors used on one pony.

Those colors are really playing off each other so well.  The bird ties it all together. Lovely!

That mane is incredible, and the painting is gorgeous! It's super impressive how you've captured so much detail in such a small area! I love how you continued the image on her back leg, too. Super awesome work!
