Tail ribbons on brushables

Do you tail ribbon or nah?

As a kid, I promptly lost all my tail ribbons. Never really cared about putting them on collection ponies.

What about you? Are you a ribbon fan? Do you seek out the originals, use new ribbons in the correct color that came with G1s, use whatever ribbon you like? Do you ribbon ponies that didn't come with them?

I only use real pony ribbons.

I don't usually put tail ribbons on my ponies (although I think it looks nice when they have one) but if I buy a pony and she comes with a tail ribbon I leave it on.

I don't think I put the tail ribbons on my childhood ponies.

I totally do. I don't have any original ribbons, so I buy pretty ones from the store that will look good on several ponies.

Gaaahhh I know exactly how I lost the ones that go with my childhood MLPs (I would use them to hold braids or what have you with styling them as a wee kidlett), they were in a basket full of ribbons that my mom used to do my hair up as a kid, and when I started wearing ponytail holders instead that basket went away, they were all in there (not that they were used in my hair, but all the ribbons were together).  Drives me nuts since I can be a bit of a completionist about accessories.

I have some original ribbons, maybe 20 or so but I've not carefully matched them to individuals I just swap them around.  Sometimes I use fakie ones as well because I bought some nice double sided high quality ribbons from a haberdashery in Buxton, England  I cut them to the right length and sealed the ends.

I dont know if I have real ones or fake. I just use whatever I find sometimes I match symbol or maybe their eye color.

I do have a bunch of maybe original ribbons stashed someplace, but I don't use them. I use a different style of ribbon to make sure it's not mistaken for real if I sell on and forget to remove them!

I put new tail ribbons on the ponies I sell, for identification purposes and because I think they look cute. 

As for my own collection: a few of my ponies have ribbon; it really just depends on my mood.

I've never actually used ribbons on my ponies. I think its super cute but sadly I can't tie a decent bow to save my life! My Baby Stockings came with a ribbon on her tail but I don't know if its original. Baby Cottoncandy and de-BBE Sundance came with ribbons as well, but I think they're just cute ribbons. Not that I'd know the difference xD
