Good Photobucket Alternatives?

I'm finding photobucket to be more and more useless. Can anyone recommend a good alternative? I need a reliable image hosting service, that doesn't take minutes to load from all the advertisements. >.<

Imgur was pretty perfect but their new updates are kind of terrible, but its still much much better than Photobucket. You can have an unlimited number of photos as far as I can tell (I have over 10k) and albums (I'm at 125 right now). But you don't need an account to upload things. I've probably uploaded a couple thousand more things while logged out.

They removed automatic resizing at upload so now you have to edit images in Imgur to resize them. Not the worst, but its certainly annoying. I use Flickr for all the photos I post on places like the Arena so I don't have to worry too much about that but it was still really handy to be able to resize immediately. They also removed directly uploading into albums, but if you upload your photos from imgur.com it automatically places them into a new album (username.imgur.com/hover over your username and click "images" is where you upload to get it to not do that). But you can still add images to albums directly from the album pages.

They're definitely catering more towards their little community and away from being a general image host but still, it works well and its better than PB by far. I've heard ads can be annoying but I use adblock to protect my laptop so I can't say 100% for sure.

As long as I have all my ad-blockers working, Photobucket has no troubles for me!

I have faithfully stuck by photobucket...but more because when it changes its changes are mild whereas other sites can upgrade a bit more radically. Plus I know it, it knows me and  its like one of those friends you love to hate

As for other recommendations I do agree with Imgur; its a good site if a little more limited in your uploads. Even though I stick by PB, I would agree Imgur is better.

I've been using Imgur to host my photos for a couple of years now. I can't think of any other image host that really beats them.

I am using dropbox but the basic version has just a few GB for free. I got extra space for using a samsung phone.

I used photobucket, got tired of it too.. now I use Flickr.

I use Facebook. You can either have a link to the picture (and only the picture), people who aren't on your freinds list on FB can still see the pic if it's the direct picture link, or have it as an image on the page you're posting to.

I used to use Photobucket and it is just dire now. Haven't even logged in there since I realised FB pictures could be put on pretty much any website out there

THat depends a little what you want to use it for I think - I use Flickr, love it! But Flickr is not allowing sales pictures, or linking pictures from Flickr into any sales thread. I know people still do this, but that is also one reason some users have been deactivated by Flickr. If you are posting pictures to share them, share your photography and like to be a part of a photography community (as Flickr is that all in it's self) - I would recommend Flickr. I like it, for being more than a storage room for my photography. But if you want to use it as a place to store sales pictures etc, I would probably use something else

I don't have any experience with Imgur, but photobucket is probably the worst site I visit and I almost don't go in there when people is linking to their sales pages (depending on the ponies of course and what mood I am in ).

I myself like to use Tumblr. I know it's not technically an image hosing site but I love being able to post a single link to share a whole set of images.

One thing I forgot. On Imgur and Flickr, you can make your images completely private. I don't like that people use Flickr like a high quality Google to steal photos from so only one album of mine is public.

However I have heard some rumors that Flickr hasn't been doing so hot. I don't know what I'd do if it shuts down so I really hope it doesn't.

Oh, really? Not sure what I do either! I have all my doll and pony pictures there from years back...!
