I used to love them. I had the coolest green Bambi one shaped like a TV set.

I've never seen the Smurf set before and the Bambi one sounds really neat Leave a Whisper.

I had a Mickey Mouse viewfinder as a kid - red with black mickey ears. I don't remember which reels I had. I wonder if it's still around somewhere...

I used to love them. I had the coolest green Bambi one shaped like a TV set.

I had one like that too! Mine is orange though <3 still have it, it was one of ma fave toys as a kid!

Wow! I love the Bambi one.  My reels are mostly Disney ones but I also have the MLP reels and Muppet Babies.

I have TONS dating back to the 1960's.  Including the scary-as-hell wall projector that starts fires if you leave it on for too long...

We just found a Hello Kitty ViewMaster and reels this last week at the thrift store.

I loved my viewmaster as a kid! I think this is still a toy they sell, isn't it?
My wife has the one she and her sister used- they have this ridiculously organized file of slides going back to the 60s- some are cool and some are things like the Grand Canyon or something-

I have no idea where mine (from the 80s) might be, but I did enjoy them as a kid.

Yes that was mine! I remember getting it when we visited the spruce goose in Long Beach. Aren't they cute?

I had many of these as a kid, I used to pretend they were cameras and the discs were pictures I'd taken. Sadly I didn't treat them as well as some of my other belongings (hence having many) and I don't think I have any remnants of my collection left.
My parents used to have a really old one that still worked but I think it was one of the things we lost/had to leave behind/sale after 9-11 and our unexpected move from WA state.
I would love to find one in working condition and some discs for it again someday, I know they've remade them sort of with a thing for smart phones, but I still don't think it would be the same.

We have some reels of M*A*S*H episodes. I get a kick out of those.

I remember so fondly! My grandparents got me one. We couldn't afford the discs, so I think we only had two. One of the dogs destroyed them. Good time.

I love reading everyone's stories. I didn't know there were M.A.S.H reels.
I saw a retro Viewmaster at Target today but I didn't see any reels except the 3 that come with it.
