What do you use for tinsel?

I find it really hard to get plain colours, as opposed to the holographic rainbow-shimmer stuff.  I once got some blue tinsel that I used to reroot Sky Rocket (sparkle pony), but can't remember where I got it from!

When I did not have access to online suppliers, I found tinsel at Fishing stores. Where you pick up material to make your own Flies for fishing. They have lots of fancy tinsel and other stuff for customs there.
