so on the one hand maybe the one has aged and darkened... I'm of the persuasion to think that argentina used different hair for different runs of this  MLP

anyone else have an orange lickety to compare ??

ok so now I will get to decide which one I am keeping and the other will be for sale

if anyone has any idea if one is more rare than the other, or anything about why different hair was used, thanks in advance for sharing :-)

Personally I would keep the lighter one. She looks better over all to me. I don't know if one is more rare or sought after than the other. Touch choice though, good luck

I have only been aware of the darker one, this is in spite of often referring to Rel's photobucket which shows the light version!

I can't comment on which is rarer/harder to find.

There are gaps in the nirvana gallery I didn't even know of!

  believe me I stumbled over to strawberry reef's site which I thought was just G3's so had previously ignored 

so thankful for members to start aggregating all of our photos out there and trying to gather up all this data and yes, if it helps the nirvana gallery that's why I've been finally getting to "I really should start sorting through this herd" because I really do value that I can just pop over to that gallery and learn about whatever from wherever

yes, there is still so much to learn about nirvana every day

so speaking of discolored - that CP pink body one I am thinking is supposed to have white hair and mine is just discolored but the wiki I think has a blond hair picture so does anyone have a MOC by any miracle?  I am thinking she's supposed to be like the argie hot pink CP cherries with white hair

see - here's the head popped a bit (didn't want to completely detach, she was sealed before pic) and it looks like perhaps she was supposed to be a more vibrant pink.  I'm at a loss as to whether someone stuck her in coffee (IMO) to discolor the body and hair (heck it could just be the south american sun and time), or if it is supposed to be more blond than white so any opinions are welcome and thanks for helping me better organize all these variants!

It's funny you should mention the hair colour. I've seen some with white hair and others with creamy coloured hair. I wondered if it was the fading pink? Tha can discolour to cream or white. However we do know that the environment can cause this sort of discolouration.

it was that nirvana pic I saw back 2010 that I believed when I bought my girl she was just "sunburned" and then I think it was last year I saw the wiki page that had a "blond" or creamy example and it is interesting you mention it could be a fading pink type of hair.  Is there any other argie that has fading pink??

and I told Jeanne Delaney I thought her minty had fading pink.  I have a blue venne that has "faded" to white hair... so maybe it is just the south american sun that can do that to what is otherwise bubblegum pink colored hair, like the light pink orange lickety

CP lickety doesn't seem to pop up too often so yes, I agree, more pics would be grand to compare

I use to have the orange with lighter pink hair MOC. Sold her off a few years ago.. Last year I bought the orange one again , this time loose... Her hair was dark like the one on the left. It threw me off a bit bc I thought I was imagining my original MOC had the lighter hair.

I also heard there are variants on the green one with different shades of hair colors.

As for the CP Lickety split, I have two, and neither are purely white.. But yours is defiantly Discolored from age.

yep, that's my vote as well and I am thinking all CP lickety are supposed to only be pink body and white hair, but I could be wrong as the fading pink hair makes sense to really be like the US version
