Hello all! I am helping a friend out here and I know this is the best place to ask for help.

She has this Greek beauty! And she wants to sell her.

From what she tells me:
The girl needs a spa but other than that, she has no discoloration, no pindot mold, no scratches on eyes or symbols but typical to greeks her pink stripes have faded a bit. her hair is also uncut.


What is the right price for her?

Prices have dropped a lot regarding Greek ponies. Sarah Bee has one for sale at $280 but there is one on eBay at $700. Neither have sold

PKW is right, she's a tricky one. There have been quite a few popping up so her prices has drastically dropped. Mint I would say around $400-$500. Some would argue for higher but any higher and she's just not selling. That one on eBay has been up for a loooong time.

oh wow that is such a shame!! She almost sold her way too low but I had thought she'd be worth more than that, as she is a more rare greek, than the rest (from what I remember?)

She used to be a lot more rare but lately a lot have been popping up so her price has decreased quite a bit. I remember when she used to be around $1200! But that was ages ago. If your friend gives her a bath and tames her hair she could possibly get more.

Not sure....she can ask $600 and see what happens. Unless she's in a hurry. You can always wait to see what others say too

She used to be really rare, but more of the sitting Greeks have popped up in the last few years. There is usually one up for sale most of the time now. Out of the two sitting Greeks, Ladybird is more popular. I think it's Ladybirds cute symbol Candle is so prone to having faded symbols I think it puts people off.

As I said in my previous post, many of the Greeks have lost a lot of value.

I think taking offers with a reserve in mind would be the best option.

Pinkkittywinks and Lady Starflower are fully right in their comments  and they give you precious advice.

Your friend should give her a bath and yes put her in auction with a reserve price in mind if she is not in hurry. As she seems to be in very good condition i will not sell her under $500- 600. Still depending on who is looking for one and are willing to pay for it.   

Greek pony price have dropped so much , however it is depending which pony because super super rare are still crazy price

Thank you for posting Bibi you are right, some very special Greeks have held their price (no doubt the ones you are after!!)

Prettying up a pony does help so a bath and brush would be advisable

well I offered $500 for the one on ebay and he countered with $650 and I admittedly like ladybird a bit more than birthday candles pony, so I didn't accept but maybe that's just me 

$500-$600 sounds about right to me
