*sigh*   I placed a "just in case" order with City Lights.  I just don't want to chance not getting a full set of these.   

What will you do if everything from both places ships?

*If* everything comes in, I may sell the extras.  I know a few people that were on the fence, or that it was a little early to be thinking about buying Christmas stuff.  I got free shipping with both orders, so at least there's not that added expense. I might just hold onto them or give them randomly as gifts to others I exchange with.

Interesting. Cotton Candy is now "out of stock" instead of on order on citylights. Maybe demand surpassed the amount they were going to make? Idk. I have no idea about the process of preorders.

A lot of places have small number of items they will sell on "preorder" because they don't know the actual number they will get from the company. Then when stock actually comes in they will put the rest up for sale.

Looks like preorders of Cotton Candy, Bluebelle and Blossom are now sold out- but they still have Snuzzle, Minty and Butterscotch...

I do really hope the line doesn't cancel!

Ah got it. That response from the company before seems strange. Without that I'd think we're definitely getting them.

Wow, I just checked this morning and they still had Bluebelle and Blossom at City Lights.   Either there's a really small amount they've set aside for preorder, or they're very popular!   At $14, I can see why they're going out of stock one-by-one. It's pretty pricey to get the whole set, so I think people are picking up their faves.

I like that places are still putting out G1-styled merch, but these look so cheaply made.  I want to want them, but I hope I can see what they look like in person, otherwise I can't bring myself to order them, especially if that's an accurate representation of their quality considering the high price...

I bought a full set on ebay for $10 $14 each a few months back in late August.  The quality is pretty bad, but as a customizer, I  had planned to touch the paint up myself.  There is no "white" in the eye, which is what drives me craziest.

ETA - I incorrectly recalled how much I paid for them and when exactly I bought them.

I was thinking of fixing them up too-  even in the promo shots they look very sloppily painted, but they ARE G1 ponies!

I don't suppose anyone has a picture of them in hand ?
