Elsa Schiaparelli - inspired AG doll dress!

In contrast to the regular outpouring of opinion.... I also sew!  A lot!  Mostly by hand!

So..... A new debut of a doll and her new dress!

This is Adeleine.  Add-A-Lane. 
She hails from 1869, but loves to time travel when gorgeous dresses are involved!

I'm still looking for a brooch that will go perfectly.

Shocking pink... ah what a colour.  It's not Barbie Pink, it's Schiaparelli Pink!  My fabric isn't quite as vibrant but it's pretty close.

And we do our little turn on the catwalk....  Adeleine looks back over her shoulder one last time and waves to her adoring fans before proceeding exit stage left.

AUUUUUUUUUGH OMG RUCHING!  What was I thinking!  No I do not have silk chiffon(!!!) so this project was bound to look a little different than the original dress to begin with.  But AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA trying to replicate it. 

So that was MY weekend, how was yours?

How cute! I love that color on her! I think its a fun take on the original, and definitely more fitting for an AG your way
