That's so neat!
All the things I loved as a kid (and still do)!
I just adored American Girl books growing up and had all the sets, with their boxes, until Josefina (which was when I started to outgrow it). I really regret getting rid of them all as they're now next to impossible to find with the original boxes they came in.
The stores in my area never have them, and I don't really want to pay the prices on Amazon or eBay. They're always ridiculous!
I do still have my Samantha doll with all her clothes, hat, and purse with penny and handkerchief. I never really was a doll person so she didn't really get played with a lot. All she really needs is a stain treatment on her dress and a hair restyling. She's my favorite, along with Kirsten!
.
I also really like your Carebears puzzle.
I've been working on collecting all the US bears and cousins. I've had most of mine since childhood, so a few are more well-loved than others. But to preserve their condition I'm going to try to stick to hugging my old Bright Heart Raccoon, since I have two of him. NO MORE squeezing your NICE bears, Kristen!
My favorite bear has to be Cheer Bear!
And my favorite cousins are definitely Proud Heart Cat and Loyal Heart Dog. But they're UK exclusives and are rarely found overseas as far as I've seen.
You also got Lisa Frank! I used to have an LF binder full of LF stationary, stickers galore, erasers, pens, pencils, etc. Again, it's no more. *sigh* I'm so jealous!! They don't make much stuff anymore, and honestly the new merchandise sucks compared to the old!
Anyways, before I turn this into a book, I should say that I'm really glad you're going to get to have so much fun with all your new stuff!!
You got a great deal!
Enjoy it.
