Pokemon Gen 7 Sun/Moon talk--starters and what team are you on?

i just finally beat the league and such. i'm in the 'i was excited for this game got it and couldn't keep interested in it' so it took me a long time to do.

I just finished the first time through yesterday.  Started it on Nov 18, 2016 finished Nov 17, 2017.  Now to start the after story and catch some ultra beasts...

My boyfriend came over and started Moon. It was fun to see him pick his starter, Litten. He also got a Shiny Silvally from a card my daughter gave to him. And we cheered him on for catching his first two pokemon, Pikipek and Wingull.

I have not. Interesting to see how interest seems so low here.

Surprised not many people are interested if that's the case. Sure, there's a lot of similarities but the bulk of the storyline is different and ALSO TEAM RAINBOW ROCKET.

I just didn't really like Sun/Moon. There were so many issues with the game, and it just felt frustrating to me.

I was very cautiously hoping that maybe there would be some improvements in Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, but it's not looking like that's the case at all. It looks like mostly a story overhaul. I bet all of the issues I had with Sun/Moon are still there.

We got three copies; my husband and daughter both have Ultra Sun and I have Ultra Moon. Its... ok. I finished the second isle and the story is now starting to get a little different from Sun/Moon... well there have been minor changes but nothing big yet. I wonder if it will get better the more I play but to be honest... its only ok yet.
Well there are these two guys in their interesting outfits (when they attend screen there is even an own kind of music playing in the background)... might get interesting soon. I hope so

I've barely started Ultra Sun, and I'm pretty bored with it so far. I'd forgotten that Sun and Moon are like, 25% tutorial and 75% cutscenes. I've played Pokemon my whole life, I don't need to learn how to catch a pokemon, thanks

Completed the Team Rainbow Rocket episode. Just got to get more Pokemon and the ultra beasts. Trying to find shiny Pokemon.

Transferred two of my big guns, Shiny Mew level 100, and Arceus level 100. Just gotta transfer Shiny Raquazer level 100, called Nobunaga (after the character from Samurai Warriors).

What a neat name! I am also working on getting legends all in US. So far I have my Cresselia (Nightshine) and Buzzwole (Bumblesweet) almost settled in. Acquiring them has Not been easy, considering how scarce the wormholes containing legends have turned out to be...

When my nephew bought Ultra Moon he also bought a used copy of Sun.  When we put Sun into his 2DS we found that the previous player had almost every single pokemon in the boxes, including all the legendaries except for Marshadow.  Some of those legendaries were shiny.  So we went through the boxes and he picked out which ones he wanted me to transfer into the pokemon bank in order to put into his game (and I picked a few that I told him he had to have because they were hard to trade for like shiny Scizor) and then he said I could have whatever I wanted so I've got a bunch to put into mine the next time I have time to pull it up.

Thanks . I've got Pokemon Conquest, and Nobunaga in that has a shiny Rayquaza, and I so wanted to get the same shiny as him. So I did and named him after Nobunaga.

Have to transfer some more shiny legendary Pokemon. Got a Latios called Gibbs (NCSI) and a few others that I can't remember.

Yes you can, but the downside is that the new Lycanroc and the new Ultra Beasts can't be traded.
