What was yours?

I'm still in the early stages of rebuilding my childhood collection so I've not got that much but I was delighted to find the Lullaby Nursery in a charity shop for £2.00!  (I'm not sure hubby shared my enthusiasm but hey ho)

My cheapest pony was Posey - she cost me 50p!

Wow that is a bargain!

When my childhood collection was sold, my Mum kept Ice Crystal as he was her favourite.  He will be mine again one day.

I'd love to rebuild my collection of the Big Brother and Mountain Boy ponies as I think I had most if not all of them as a child, sadly though I think it will be a long job given the money that they are worth these days.

I don't collect dream beuty and I only really like the lavender satin n lace. Lol! So I figured that someone elce would enjoy them so much more than me. Even tho they are rare.

But I love love Oakly! He in my top favorites.
I can't say I have a favorite pony when people ask me.

I got a lot of 40-some ponies for $40, so each pony cost less than a dollar.  One of them was Mimic (with a still-pink stripe in her mane).

I don't have any stories like that, unfortunately..maybe one day. :blush: Guess the best "bargains" to date would be getting the complete set of Pretty Pals for uh, an amazing "too good to be true but it was!" price, and I thought I was just getting Baby Pockets and Hoppy... Also got the entire TAFs set for a sweet deal too but pony genies never disclose prices. :blush:
