Just need to rant! PayPal and bad Etsy buyer.

She has bought 2 rehairs from me.

The first was Jan 31, 2016. No issues

The second was April 5, 2016. I shipped on April 7, 2016 (thursday). On April 9, 2016 (saturday) I got a paypal non-receipt claim that had immediately been escalated to a dispute. The only note was "I want a refund". The item had tracking and was still en route! I let paypal know. Gave them the tracking. Told them it was still in route and that the buyer had not messaged me and had bought from me before. Told them I had pics of the item and my shipping receipt. It is still being reviewed by paypal, but the package was delivered on April 11, 2016. The buyer has not contacted me. I let paypal know that this morning.

Roogna it looks like she opened the dispute for your rehair on the same day as she opened the dispute on my wings. That is a good idea to share this thread with Paypal, hopefully they will realise that she is the problem and just how many people she has duped.

Sadly, you can't.  Etsy has no way of blocking any user for any reason.  There are known scammers on Etsy and Etsy won't do a thing about it when presented with overwhelming evidence. 

Really I had no idea what a sad state of affairs, I can honestly say I am very disappointed to hear that.

Huh, the 5th is when she opened the 3 disputes on me, too.  Wonder if she had some sort of financial emergency.  Still shady though.

I believe her simply a scammer. She purchased from me on the 8th and cancelled on the 9th. Would that she did have a financial emergency I would understand somewhat but I think she wants a free OOAK pony display herd.

I am amazed paypal doesn't have people like this popping up in their system with warning lights on?
They should see too that she is filing claim after claim and how unlucky can one person be to really not receive any????
To me it looks like paypal needs to keep an eye on those multiple claims filers too!

On looking at her behaviour and what she has done to each and everyone of us I believe her to be a scammer.

Sparkler: I too am wondering how and why PayPal are letting her make so many claims? The odd claim yes, but so many, surely that would raise a red flag????

Sadly, I don't think I can dispute further with PayPal since I don't have proof of delivery, only proof of shipping.

Aww PKW and everyone else, I'm so sorry this has happened to you!!! Some people are just terrible. It makes me so cross to think she's got all all that free stuff in her collection now

That is awful!    She sounds like a scammer, plain and simple. Also Etsy should get a Block feature in place ASAP!!

Does anyone know if this girl is on eBay as well?  I'd like to block her if she is.

I don't think there is

You can cancel a transaction through Etsy and refund her you should get your fees back for Etsy. That might be the way forward if she buys anything.

I do think that is our only recourse now. I will definitely refuse her business should she attempt again (and you do get a number of fees back but must pay to relist the items in question) for the reason of 'bullying to gain free services of myself and a portion of the community at large'.

I started to send a message but I don't know if I should. I am going to remove the tag on my item that it's held... she seems to want to buy bubbles customs from me... luckily the other one I had actually sold to someone else in the meantime.

If I get another scammer buyer I'm gonna cry, I'm currently dealing with a bad ebay buyer who's gonna basically get their money back and my expensive item, all because they are not patient... anyway sorry side rant, it's just killing me. I trust everyone and try to do good by people and I'm tired of being taken advantage of...

I took off the hold on the two I was holding for her and if she trys to buy them from me I will confront her basically saying that she likes to open cases against sellers for no reason. She's just not a person I feel like dealing with anymore. Sunshine I'm sorry to hear your dealing with another bad apple, if I were you I would just cancel if she does try buying from you.

I agree with aj, wait and see what happens and if she does buy cancel the order and refund her.

It is better to loose a few fee's than deal with the aggravation
