Quote from: ringwraith10 on March 01, 2016, 11:15:58 AMLovely collection! I have every different version of Sundance (well, US releases, at least), but I only have one Megan and one Molly. I would really like to get the version of Megan with the larger eyes. I think she's so pretty! There is actually two versions of her with and without bangs - I used to own the no-bangs version but I think I accidentally sold it. Gotta find me another one.

Sorry ladies...it took more digging than I thought to find the old picture visitors can't see pics , please register or login
Can't comment on the brush and comb mystery because I'm pretty certain the UK release brush and comb are white and the ribbon for Sundance aqua (with Megan's being pink). That's 1986 anyhow, which is same year of issue I think as SS in the North American line. Our second release...can't comment on decisively because aside from wearing Country Jamboree, I don't know what other accessories or even the style of box.I think it's probable the different NC shades of hair relate to these releases but I don't have either MIB. I have the first set complete with box but I didn't get the doll and pony with the rest of it so I can't be sure even on that basis. My loose ponies also have slight variations, though. My pictures are not as good as ashlyne's, but still..http://www.etherella.com/scrapbook2/meganandsundance2.htm

Things I have never seen. UK second edition M+S wearing the aqua outfit in the package. So soft M+S packaged with lavender shoes and a purple bird brush and comb.
With the two things you cited, FantasticFirefly, the SS accessories thing could just be a clerical error or confusion based on someone's mismemory. This isn't a set with a UK release, so it's not a UK variation, as sometimes happens in accessories...so I think it's possibly just a mistake someone's passed forward as canon. (But I might be wrong).
I just have never seen a fully intact with box set. I have it listed as a myth thus far.
