I have a confession.

I am a G1 pony backcard/box addict.

Please help me feed this addiction

I have been collecting pony cards for a long time. I think it's kinda because I lost most of my childhood ones and so by trying to replace some of those, I kinda became hooked on pony packaging. History is important, right? While I would love to have a card for every pony, I at least want to try and get one example for every set if I can.

I only collect G1 backcards.


The caveats are as follows.
I don't need them to still have the plastic bubbles, but I prefer cards in good enough shape to see the artwork.
I do not mind cards with missing horseshoe points.
I will accept parts of boxes, if the part of the box is the back of the box with the graphics and the story. This is especially the case if the box/package is rare.
I don't mind what language the card is in, but I give priority to cards with a European or UK release art style. Some of these I am willing to pay well for, depending on condition.
I am interested in US pony cards but mostly if they were from ponies not sold in the UK. However there are exceptions and I will consider others.
I am not looking for Nirvana cards unless they are ones from Italian, Spanish etc cards or Scandinavia which use the same style of artwork as used in the early UK cards. I am not interested in any Nirvana cards with US artwork, as I have several examples of the US cards with that artwork already. I would be interested in Brazilian cards but probably can't afford them
I am in the UK.

"Country Jamboree" Megan and Sundance UK box (1987)
A white Princess Brush and Grow Box (UK release, not the yellow one). Stargleamer especially preferred, but will consider any.
Newborn Twins complete box for 1988 UK release (features ONLY three sets of twins)
Magic Message Pony "Magical Breeze" (UK release)
A 1988/9 Big Brother Card (Chief's set) - UK release.
UK Baby Tic Tac Toe's box.
Rainbow Magic's UK release English language card (although I am looking for her MOC too, I would be happy with just the card xD)
A "Fable Pony" early Unicorn/Pegasus card (in any language)

I will pay a competitive price for reasonable examples of any of the above.

I will consider other pony cards that I don't have. I am particularly interested in cards with UK names (vs US names) on them.

I am also interested in the Baby Ribbons & Hearts Mail Order flier, and the Paradise Estate unfolding poster magazine from 1988.

I am so in love with the flutter boxes. Gaspode found another one at home and so I am now the proud owner of four out of six first set flutter boxes <3 little pieces of geeky history
