amazing that you found them! the Goodwill stores around here that no longer have toys at all, they all go for auction now.

The dig and save Goodwill I have here is in such an unsavory part of town.

There are some shoppers that stay from open to close but thats 12 hrs. The most ive stayed is 8 or 9 and it really does go fast. It's very easy to spend 5+ hrs or more there because what happens to me is I grab anything that looks interesting then I sort and toss items back in the bin. Usually in the midst of the sorting process the hour is up and the bins are rotated again. I was just about to leave and decided to stay for the next rotation since it was only ten minutes away and that's when I found her. It really is super competitive but luckily, it seems nobody besides me is looking for ponies so even if I get to a bin late they are still there waiting for me.

I went back today and found some newer style ponies and a talking baby sweetie belle. What a difference a day makes! Wasn't anything vintage today but I found so much yesterday. It really was being in the right place at the right time. I feel very blessed.

Yeah, I think it's the same at my Goodwill and most other thrift stores here. Pretty frustrating! I've had to learn what thrift stores do carry toys. I've been to the Goodwill Outlet once and it was pretty fun, though so frustrating that the bins were so deep and hard to sort through (there were chairs in some of the bins, lol! Why on earth did they throw those in?)

That's why I love thrift hunting giving abandoned toys a second chance at a better life! Reminds me of the Island of Misfits toys but only with ponies haha

After a trip to the pony spa this morning, Crumpet is looking like herself again! And wowzers, she is a beauty! Her flocking is so plush and thick hardly any loss at all ---- even around the edges of her hooves!! AMAZING!!!
I gently scrubbed her with a soapy toothbrush then rinsed her off and toweled dried her after giving her mane and tail a good shampoo and condition and this was the tremendous result...

She truly is stunning. After a gentle scrubbing, her symbols are now bright and more clearly defined and look just perfect. I couldn't be more pleased with the end result. I can't believe anyone would throw away such a beautiful girl into the trash... but Im happy to give her a new home and introduce her to the rest of my herd.

She doesn't look like the same pony, you did a really good job at cleaning her.And yes i don't understand why someone would throw her, but now she's safe with you and that's the most important thing.
