Planet Zoo!!! I've been waiting for this day! I get to help beta test since I bought the deluxe version on pre order. It has super fun potential but boy is it full of bugs right now. Hopefully the devs will get everything fixed before launch.

Tried a bunch of demos on the Switch eshop.

Daemon X Machina was a bit too complicated for my taste

Dragon Quest XI didn't really grab me, but then I'm not a square enix fan.

Contra Rogue Corps was kinda cool.

Ori and the Blind Forest didn't grab me.

R-Type Dimensions is fun.

Kill la Kill sucked.

Kidd Tripp wasn't fun.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst was very fun.

Finally replaced my childhood Wii's disc drive after... oh, six years or so. It kept getting put off for a lot of reasons, but - one Amazon order later - I can finally play disc games again! Sorry for writing such a long post, but I'm geeking out over here.

I'm going to be taking a short break from gaming in anticipation of (hopefully) finally purchasing a PS4*, but right now I'm juggling the following:

• Animal Crossing (2002)
(I time-traveled back to the year my Wii died and was thrilled to see my favorite villager, Freya, was still there. ♥ Also, I forgot how rude some villagers could be lol.)

• Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
(Played the first four PC ones almost religiously growing up, so this is a nostalgic and yet unfamiliar journey. It's so different from the PC version! Currently getting my butt kicked by the Whomping Willow.)

And I was playing Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly... but ended up dropping it due to the poor controls. Some games just aren't as enjoyable as a adult, I guess.

And on 3DS, I'm trying to finish up Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and playing the occasional level of Bravely Default.

*As for the PS4 - I'm hoping prices will drop below $200 over Black Friday. I've been saving up for a PS4 for three years, but it seems like my money always has to go to bills. Maybe we'll finally see this year, lol.

I started Horizon Zero Dawn. I'm only a little bit into it but the story is already fascinating me. I really suck at stealth stuff though so I don't know how good I'll be at combat I set the difficulty to 'Story' mode, hopefully that will take pity on me, haha.

Started playing Pokemon Sun again since I never finished it. Been in a Pokemon mood with Sword and Shield coming out and since I can't get them right now going through the backlog I own.

There was a "Jumbo" demo for Dragon Quest Builders 2 on the Switch, so I downloaded it. A few hours to beat a demo is... Pretty impressive. I got sidetracked a lot, but loved it more than I thought I would.

I have to admit, I was weary at first (the tutorial bored me, but nearly every tutorial bores me). After that? Got right into it. Will definitely be buying it soon.
