I finally started Subnautica. It's been in my Steam library for a couple of years (I tend to buy a lot of games on sale and then never get around to playing them ).

It is so worth the hype! I'm hooked. Usually I'm not a fan of survival games but the atmosphere is so incredible. I love the ocean in real life and get a thrill out of deep water and being around sharks and stuff. The game has yet to scare me, but I'm hopeful

Ace Attorney Apollo Justice downloaded it on Monday on my 2DS XL and I’ve finally finished the first case.

There were finally some things that appealed to me in the PSN sale, so I finally checked out Hatoful Boyfriend and it is flipping hilarious. So far I've started a law-abiding biker gang with Azami and gone on a quest for pudding with Oko; I'm thinking of trying to win Sakuya's affection next. I'm also playing Aer: Memories of Old, which is really lovely. It feels great to fly around freely and explore the world, although I have developed an internal conflict between wanting to charge ahead to find out what happens and taking my time to enjoy things and take in the game at a more leisurely pace.

I'm back into Pokemon Crystal. Got my 6th gym badge, beat up Team Rocket at Mahogany and I'm training up my trade newbies.

The thing that makes Hatoful Boyfriend so great though is that it has a pretty deep and amazing story. Once you get past the "bird dating sim" thing, there's a really engaging visual novel to experience.

In other news, I've been wanting play Animal Crossing New Leaf but haven't played in 3 years according to my villagers. I don't remember anything and would like to start over but don't want to lose my old town. Soooo, a question - I need a second copy if I want to start a new game, don't I?

I'm playing Star Stable Online right now. I don't even know how I got sucked in but now I am a regular player The redesign helped a lot. The new horses always look great, imo.

Anyone active? I thought maybe pony people have an overlap with SSO players because of the horses and fantasy aspect.

My husband and I just finished Yoshi's Woolly World last night, it was amazing! I loved the final boss battle and I really feel like I need a yarn Bowser Jr. in my life.

Target is doing a buy 2 get 1 free sale on all their video games right now, so other than Mario Maker and Super Mario Bros. U, I'm trying to think of a 3rd game to get. I was thinking Windwaker HD, but I'm not sure. Decisions, decisions!

I wish they would make the Yoshi Woolly World for the 3DS!  It looks adorable!!

Didn’t they? Yoshi and Poochie’s Woolly World is basically just the original with some bonus content, isn’t it? I have it for 3DS, but haven’t played it yet... That was my understanding when I bought it, though.

I do not like Square games, but I've decided to attempt a second go at Secret of Mana. I didn't get very far the first time. I remember a beautiful temple where they explained the mana seed thing to me. But I'll see if I like it better this time around now that I've changed the controls to my liking and am leveling up. If nothing else, this is a remarkably pretty game with pretty music.
