Disney/Pixar Swap customs for aintnobuffalo

I had the great pleasure of making a custom for aintnobuffalo. she had an amazing list and i had a hard time choosing.

long version

i originally wanted to make star butterfly (one cuz she's awesome and two cuz i like her too. xp) and gaston from beauty and the beast. i picked these two cuz they are both interesting characters, but also not many pony customs of them out there yet. so i started looking for baits. aintnobuffalo only collects g4s so naturally i'd have to get a shining armor bait for gaston. no other pony would do. well after several weeks of looking for a bait i could afford, i decided to switch over and do my second choice. mabel from gravity falls. had both the baits ready, prepped and about to paint, when ... boom i moved. lost the baits. had a back up of star, but i was scrabbling for mabel, when i was searching on the forum someone had shining armor, and a few other ponies in a lot, i swooped them up and started on gaston right away. i think they turned out pretty well and i'm very proud of the detail in star's cutie mark. the brushed yarn was perfect for these two. i was planning on giving gaston dolly hair, but after star was rehaired... well i couldn't give a guy who claims to be covered in hair a simpler do than the girl he was traveling with.
anyway amazed you read through that all. i had a great time and alot of advice from co-workers who already knew i was pony obsessed.

Love, love, love them! They are amazing! You captured the characters so well, and the detail work is awesome. Who did you use as Star's base? It didn't seem to be a FBR to my eyes.

and yeah star wasn't a fbr, since she was technically the "extra" xp she was a photo finish in her past life.
i tried to sew her a dress, but failed... in so many ways. gotta keep working on pony clothes apparently.

i hope star's hair looks ok. i wasn't sure how it would travel. to restyle, dip the end in hot water, style and let air dry.

Ah, of course, Photo Finish! I should grab one to bait and perhaps learn from her dress; I just can't get pony clothes down beyond capes!
