Factually incorrect MLP cameo in "Jem and the Holograms" movie?

I've heard that in flashbacks to 1999, Jerrica is playing with My Little Ponies as a little girl, but it's the wrong generation for that time period.  (What I've heard is that it's G4s, but I haven't seen for myself.)

If anyone goes to see the movie could you please watch for this and post if she is indeed playing with G4s?

Or if anyone can see what's going on in this Jem review around the 9:30 mark, that's where they talk about the MLP thing.

I'm too young to have been a Jem fan back in its originality, but even I can say this movie looks terrible.

I can confirm that there seems to be a retro-repro Cotton Candy and a G4 princess of some kind on the table.

Absolutely not.  I was totally happy with her being a nostalgic thing.

I would have been happy if there were playline dolls. I'm not into the rubbery stiff limbs of the vintage dolls and the Integrity dolls are way out of my price range.

It appears that they are playing with what appears to be a G1 Cotton Candy. That might actually be the only good quality that this movie has  (Despite having never actually watched a full episode of the Jem Cartoon) ...

There were actually 2 pony cameos! When the girls are playing music & dressing up in the garage, there's a giant plush Frilly Frocks in a plastic bag in the background. It's clearly visible in several shots.

In the flashback scene, that's definitely the 25th anniversary Cotton Candy. It has bright pink hair. I think the other pony was a Fashion style Princess Cadance.

I'm a huge Jem fan & went into the movie with very very VERY low expectations. I will say that it exceeded my expectations & was a reasonable good story brought into a believable modern-day world. There were a lot of nods to the original series (some not as obvious as others), as well as well-placed cameos from people involved in the original show. If you are on the fence, give it a chance.
