Since the thread has been locked for over a year, I don't see any reason that it should be considered active by anyone looking. Active threads are typically kept bumped and have active posts, so they stay unlocked.

Also, we don't delete threads unless there's a serious reason or problem with the thread. When you're ready to start selling again, just start a fresh active thread.

I understand the reasons. I only posted because...well...someone dug up my thread (will remain anonymous) and I ended up doing business with them...so yeah I wanted to request deletion in case the same thing happened.

Given the age of the thread, and that it's been locked for so long, I don't think anyone will have a problem if you point that out and say you are not actively selling. There are thousands of locked threads in the transactions forums. We can't delete the contents of every one that is no longer active.
