Who Was Your First Twinkle Eye?

Mine was Sweet Pop.  She is such a pretty girl, all full of happy, summer time memories. I loved the popsicle symbol and I loved taking her out with me to get ice cream from the truck. I really hope to get her again someday.

Later on, I got Sweet Stuff, Whizzer and Fizzy.

Fizzy!    I got her as a kid.  She was one of the ponies I actually got to choose from the store.  The funny thing is I think she was my fourth choice pony.  I went there wanting to get Galaxy (who I knew from the brochure), but she didn't look as good in real life as in the brochure, so I balked.  Then I wanted Masquerade or Whizzer, who I believe they were out of.  So I got Fizzy.

I did love her, though.  Such a pretty pony.  So I don't regret getting my 4th choice.

Tic-Tac-Toe was mine!  I got her for Christmas last year from my parents.  She is also currently my only Twinkle Eye, but I'm hoping to change that soon!  Tic-Tac-Toe is such a pretty pony, I love her.  I love yellow ponies, and I adore that she has such vibrant colors in her mane and tail.  My girl is in super nice condition, so her hair is so soft and lovely.  She probably has some of the nicest hair in my entire herd!

Speedy!  I love this girl, she has wonderful colors and she's in great condition.  I'd like to get more Twinkle-Eyed ponies evetually, they're my favorite G1 set.

Locket! I bought her when I first started collecting G1s, and she really holds a special place in my heart (and my shelf!)

Gingerbread was my first and only childhood TE. She was all my favorite colors on one pony, so it was love at first sight!

I can't remember for sure... but it may have been Masquerade as she was the one I always wanted as a kid.

Masquerade. I think she was my fourth pony. She was also my only Twinkle Eye pony as a child, and the only Twinkle Eye in the house until my sister had a second hand Fizzy for her third birthday present. I always loved reading about her many disguises in the pony comic

I also remember trying to make her fly on the school playground. Her eyes got a liiiittle scuffed but she survived living with me for a very long time.

Here she is, almost 30 years on I think she still looks quite happy, despite living through my childhood!

Mine too! I got her pretty early to my collecting and I still love her to bits. Her color scheme is so bold compared to most other ponies!
