A couple months ago icecreamgirl posted on the Swap forum looking to do a cross country swap. I thought that sounded like fun, so I messaged about it and we ended up shipping near the start of August. My box came in on Wednesday and I've finally had time to sit down and get some pictures.
There's a lot of neat stuff to show, so let's get going!

I actually realized part way through opening them all that two had escaped this picture and ended up a few feet away. Whoops!

I particularly like the one with all the sunsets.

I enjoy it but I'm not great at it.

I've also eaten the Chocolate Frog and the Wispa Bar (why don't they sell those here?!). The tea is lovely--going to need to get some digestives to go with it. Reminds me of the tea my grandpa use to love, except this has a bit more flavor than I remember that having.

The MLP are very different from those I can get here and the ones of iconic things from England are really neat.

I've seen some interesting soap designs but this is definitely one of the most unique!)

I thought this was pretty neat and It'll likely get hung up when my bf visits again.

loginRetro MLP mug and stationary!
I think I'll use the mug as a candy dish for Laffy Taffy, Starburst, etc. since we have hard water that might wreck it otherwise. As for the stationary, it's adorable and has joined the rest of my growing horde.
I'm a writer--I'm addicted to the stuff!

I had a corgi named Cuddles as a kid and her nickname was Susie so getting this pony was pretty special.

loginCherry Sweet has one of the prettiest color combos I've seen on a pony. Cupcakes are a common theme on book blogs and Cherry Sweet's color combo has lead to my bf nicknaming her Twylla after my troll hunter in World of Warcraft. She's awesome.

login Secret Wish is glittery, pink, semi-transparent and has tinsel. How could she not be on my absolute most wanted list?
I love all the g1s I got, but this is actually my favorite pony. I'm trying to decide whether to put her with Starglow or with my Egyptian Pony.

loginNSS Shady! This is probably the pony with the most interesting story.
SS Shady is the only pony I actually remember going and buying as a child. And one of the only other memories I have from childhood is that I was frustrated with stuff happening to her flocking--that was part of why I didn't end up collecting MLP as a kid. (I've got bad vision and textural stuff like flocking going on a toy bugged me even at a young age.) I loved her colors, though, and wished she had been "normal".
Well, apparently that existed--just not in Canada. Now the older (wiser) me needs to get an SS version to match this lady so the past and present can be together/

Thanks very much for the lovely box, icecreamgirl! I really enjoyed doing this swap with you.
