Gosh a product bible does suggest a completely new angle. G4 will already have a strict product bible in place. Interesting!

I would actually be more interested in building the mythos and than concentrating on the actual design of the toys.  Really, my direction for them would be, more pony like, more characters, and more poses.  I would also use the ponies likenesses and symbols on everything from T-shirts to coffee mugs.

However, I am more interested in building the world and story of these ponies.  And the world I have in mind is very open.  The ponies are a very small part of it and there are so many mysteries that have yet to be explored.  Create a world that encourages kids to imagine because the limit is their imagination.  The media would only scratch the surface and give enough of a sense that the adventures to be had are not limited to what you see on TV.

That would be a waste of this position.  It's a Friendship is Magic movie.  We already have the characters set.

I am certain it's way too early to hope for G5, considering G4 is still going on.  G5, if MLP goes that far, would probably be some time after G4 ends, including the TV series.

I'm about to have two bachelor's degrees, but neither in fine arts.

Which is kind of a shame.  Bringing in someone with different perspective would probably be more beneficial.

I guess it's too much to hope for that Pinkie Pie would be put in retirement and my beloved G1 Year 2 ponies rolled back out in a new way for G5 . . . Applejack can come!

My guess is that after 2017 (the movie release) they want to refresh the brand and be diversity its current reincarnation. It'll take a few years to develop a new line! My guess is G5!

Probably internal, which is what I thought for a position like this. They are probably  required to post job listings.

This job really didn't sound like it was "g5" (although eventually it would be). It's just about overseeing the brand right now and the future
