Zap Code Necklaces Stuck on Equestrian Girls
« on: July 30, 2015, 05:10:53 PM »
My girl says she can't get the "trophy" style necklaces off of the dolls!  They don't have a fastener or anything I guess?

I think it's so kids don't lose the Zapcode and then can't use the character in their game anymore. You can snip them off if you don't want it on the doll anymore. If you are careful to do it in the back you might be able to put it on again too.

Take the head off. That is a way to not damage the code and the heads go on nicely so you won't notice :)

Its going to depend on whether your daughter wants to use the code at any point in the future. If not then snipping it off is the best option. If there is the possibility you ever wanted to resell her or they wanted to use the code, unfortunately she would be best to put up with it. As others have mentioned, there is no way to remove it other than cutting (or popping the dolls head off if you prefer) - its designed so that it cant be lost.

I'm sure she can still use the code if it's cut off as long as the cut is in the back. It's just easier to lose.

Its the easier to lose part that I of course mean. There is a reason we have more ponies nowadays than we do the accessories that accompanied them.
