In non-fakie news, I think I have a Rainbow Dash coming in the mail. She and AJ seem to be broadly down to $11 these days, but this one was only $10... woooo?

I think there are some RD and AJ fakies coming from China, they seem  like the real deal I heard,but they are not, something about their belly seams being in a weird shape.

The fakies are pretty easy to spot.  They all have rooted tails.

I ordered some Zillas from China too- but since they are coming with their packaging, I'm not too worried that they are fakies.  (It's crazy to me that I can order from Taobao but my State has a ban on imports from AliExpress!)

Well that's crazy!  I think that Twi is coming soon - but the graphics !!! 

It seems likely that the Ponies coming from China - may be unlicensed copies made by the same factory that makes the licensed ones (and maybe even QC rejects).  I guess that happens a LOT.

No, that's the old Twi design, with the yellow hair and the stars in her eyes. Whether the toy itself is a fakie or not (defined however) I don't know.

Also check Walgreens and Frys for the 'zillas. Last time I was at Frys they had Cadence and Celestia.

Well she came today and doesn't seem fake? Her tail all comes out of one big hole, like the first three but unlike the blatant fakies. She's the first RD release, not the upcoming one, since she faces right, but she's in Spanish packaging that doesn't come with any stickers. And I think her hairline is a bit farther forward than the fakies'.

My RD SEEMS legit but she does have a weird squiggly messed up plastic area on her belly!   I suspect the ones coming from China are probably QC rejects.

I'm not sure if this sale was just at my CVS or not, or if it's still going on, but I stopped in to pick up a prescription on Friday (I think?) and they had these guys on sale for $6.50 each.

My store only had Rarity and Pinkie; not sure of others might have later waves.
