There are so many other pet toys out there on the market and I just liked Shopkins because they aren't toys I typically see everyday. I dunno, I guess I'll have to see them before I judge TOO harshly.

Apparently there's going to be another re-release of the So Cool Fridge in Season Four! Not too thrilled about another re-release of this playset. (Couldn't they have re-released a playset that hasn't been re-released before? Small Mart, maybe?) However, I think the exclusive Shopkins are adorable! The mason jar Petkin is actually pretty cute, but I'm not that big of a fan of the egg one. They remind me a lot of Polly Pocket Cutants.

I just found out through Tumblr that there's going to be an event at TRU tomorrow, details here.

I probably won't go since I'm "too old" to. Its a shame cause I'd really love to trade a couple of my not-so-loved Shopkins. I wish I knew a kid because the free stuff sounds really cool and I'd rather not pay eBay scalper prices. Oh well.

Eh they know me at the TRU and usually let me participate. (They probably think I have a toy blog or channel or something because I buy toys fairly often and take plenty of pics which in a way I guess is true since I have a toy photo Tumblr but I'm not at all famous) The thing is the golden cookie isn't actually free, it's in a specially labeled 12 pack that you can buy. That said the free tray and mystery collectable sound interesting.

I went to the swap with my kids. They had a ton of fun and did a lot of trading. The tray was a cardboard tray and the surprise toy was a new thing called Twozies. They are so cute and remind me of Sonny Angel a little bit.

I ended up checking it out but it was kind of a trainwreck here so I wimped out and left. They were putting everything away 20 minutes early and only one kid was there. There were still piles of trays. I didn't see the Swapkins pack or the Twozies.

I was pretty surprised, considering how empty Shopkins shelves usually are here. Are they good to scalp or something?

That's really weird. Maybe everyone came early and had already left. Ours was so busy they had to bring in an extra table. The swapkins packs with the golden kookie cookie were actually not in the swap area or the shopkins shelf. I had to ask where to find them. They had their own little shelf in the middle of a random isle.

I have tried to resist these for a long time. I recently caved in and won an auction with a lot of 20 Shopkins. Now I just want more! Shopkins just recently came here to Sweden and they're actually selling season 1 stuff here right now! I was so happy when I saw that, because season 1 is, to my knowledge, starting to get hard to come by in other countries. I just bought a bunch of season 1 2-packs, 5-packs and 12-packs from a Swedish online toy store and they will arrive sometime next week.
