GOT IT- THANKS!... What is this white tiger? + Pretty Kitty question

Found this at the thrift shop and it tickles my memory but I haven't been able to find anything about it.  I thought at first it was a zebra but then realized I'm a doof and I think it's a white tiger (which would explain the fangs... duh, Aadra).

Anyway, it used to talk or make noise with a AAA battery in the bottom but it doesn't work, anymore.  1994 Lanard China marking on back of head.  Second pic for size reference.

Also, is the purple cat a Pretty Kitty fakie?  It has no symbol and is marked 1988 TCFC Inc China.  It looks very similar to the Mattel cat!

I believe the Pretty Kitties without symbols are from Lady Lovely Locks.  Nice finds btw!
