Equestria Girls toys coming to McDonalds

My daughter will like these as she really likes the Equestria Girls line (maybe even better than the ponies  ) but as ever I'm not a big fan of them.

Yes!  I think it's the eyes that get me, not even so much that they aren't ponies.  I did see a new Fluttershy EQG that had really nice eyes though so maybe they'll improve on this front.

There were actual ponies of Twily, Fluttershy, and Pinkie. The way they are appearing at the same time as the dolls has me suspect that we are getting 4 ponies and 4 dolls this time.

The toys came out today at the McDonald's I work at.  There is an equestria girls version and a pony version (two different toys) with little designs on the pony and it comes with a comb to brush the tail of the pony.  I think they made Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack, Fluttershy, and Twilight.  I was a little upset that there was no Rarity since she's my favorite.  I'm glad that Apple Jack made it in the bunch.  One of the good things about working at McDonald's is that when you're putting the toys together (adding them to boxes or bags and stacking them up in the bin) you get first dibs on toys.  I am just going to get the pony version, I don't like the way the equestria girls version looks.

Also, unlike the MLP's which were released before these do not come with coupons, only the combs and a mcplay app. code.

I just got all 8 toys today.  The Equestria Girls ones definitely look different from the real dolls and the movies, but I think they're cute.
