I know as a seller on ebay that you are allowed 3 days to ship after payment is received.  However, as a buyer on ebay, it would not be a bad idea to message the seller and ask when the item will be shipped if it does not show shipped by end of today. ;)

Chili is a pretty small country- and the people are very friendly and laid back. I think they just might do things a little slower.  I would give the seller some extra time and not worry too much.

While there actually is no set rules that a seller has to ship with in three days, if you want to set a good track record a seller should.  I prefer shipping the next business day when I make a sale. There are some sellers though that do all of their shipping once a week, probably because they are a long way from their postal service. I believe those that don't ship right away should state that in their listings, but not all of them do.

I personally...being a patient person,  would most likely wait a week before prodding the seller through eBay's question feature, but you are well within your rights to ask after 2-3 days. I wouldn't worry to much as of yet  :)

I've been told by my post office that other contries don't always scan or track packages. (I was told this in reference to shipping items to other countries, I imagine it's the same for incoming mail)

Eta: so I guess dont start worrying until the 16th...

What bandit said  :)

If it's not expected for delivery until March 16th. I am pretty sure you have nothing to worry about. Unfortunately it seems this day in age we expect to order something  and it be shipped within minutes of the sale. When in fact these folks are just the same as you and me, selling to get by.

As far as being worried, Paypal extended there time for opening a claim. So you have well past 45 days to do so.  ;)
