i have messaged two members regarding purchases and do not see them in my sent box.  Is it because I messaged them through their signature email instead of composing a new email from my inbox?  I just want to make sure my messages are received.  Thank you!

If you sent them an email then it would go through the site's email system, and they would respond to you via email. If you sent them a Private Message (PM) here, then you will see it in your Sent Box.

Hi, thanks for the reply.  I sent two PMs, doesn't show in my sent box.  Is there a restriction on mail being sent by newbies?

Nope, there's no restrictions. You can send me a test one if you like.
If they aren't showing in your Sent Box, them my guess would be either they didn't send, or you sent it by email instead.

I think I may have figured out one part of the issue - you are replying to the PM email notifications, instead of the PMs themselves. Replying to the notifications comes back to the site administration email only - which is why they specifically say "This is a notification only, do not reply." You have to reply to the PMs themselves on the site.
