I always assumed it only said hasbro, because hasbsro is a mlp product nothing more--not that they necessarily made the product.  I'm sorry that happened to you.

WOW! This is pretty sad to hear about all of this. I do know that stuff is made to be thrown away pretty fast. Things are made so cheap and they break so easy.

That's such a shame! I have a Dexter's Laboratory mug which is already starting to wear out pattern-wise, so I know the feeling

Although it doesn't bother me if a product isn't dishwasher safe - We do all our washing the old fashioned way (which doesn't take long at all anyway)

I got the MLP G4 travel mug and it's junk too. We put it in dishwater and water got on the inside and ruined it. Water is trapped on the inside and the artwork is bubbling up. Very disappointing.
