1/29 edit- Hi again! I have decided to go through with my decision to try and make my precious pegasus Blossom a bit prettier.

Two bad news- firstly, I was unable to rid her of her smoke-y smell. The other problem was that when I peeked inside her to examine her tail, she had the first signs of impending tail rust. The metal washer that held it together wouldnt come off so I had to give her a new tail completely.


Good news is that she came out beautifully! I curled her hair and tail to make her look extra fancy. Isn't she stunning? I'm so proud!

Owning a nirvana was something I'd never have imagined. Of course, when I started collecting I was just a cub so buying expensive stuff off the Internet was a dream.

Well guess what nerds!! I'm an adult now and as an adult, I have made my dream purchases.

I actually bought this one first, but she came just yesterday. Italy white Tootsie!
If you wanna know, her symbol looks better on white than green. Just sayin'.

Regarding Blossoms hair, Peru ponies respond well to careful flat iron treatments (be sure the hair is wet with conditioner combed through it and do small sections at a time). Her hair was originally super curly which explains the frizz. She is yours to do as you wish, but keeping her original hair will keep her value.

Yeah I'm afraid we can't do flat irons. Last time I tried, the hair was fried...(and I can't find one with heat settings!! )

White Tootsie is so beautiful. She has a special place in my herd. She's the only one I keep on my nightstand right by me. She's just so pretty!

Good on you for treating yourself.  I know how excited I was when I became an adult and could finally afford all of the ponies I so desperately wanted as a kid!  Congrats on two great choices - and may many more follow

I am completely with hathorcat regarding blossoms hair, I would not rehair her, it only decreases her value.
