Your opinion on earth-toned or "naturally" colored ponies?

I would to have brown, gray even black ponies! But if they have rainbow hair, lol. I am drawn to the fantasy part of mlp too, pegasus, unicorn and all that colours

I would have to say I prefer my ponies to be bright, pretty colours as opposed to realistic.  There are so many other types of toy horses in real colours available that I don't miss 'real' coloured ponies.  Saying that, I would love a custom pony of my pinto mare

I love the fantasy aspect too. But it would have been nice to throw in a real color pony in every once in a while just to make it interesting.
