I don't have this pony in hand but these were the photos sent to me of the Lilac Posey I was supposed to receive a few years ago.  They're not the best, but at the time this particular Posey was considered the real deal.  I don't think her legitimacy was ever called in to question.  I really hope yours isn't a rehair!

Hey there Skeen,

Oddly the one you were supposed to receive looks like mine. Do you see the NDS side, there are the same pink marks by her front leg, they are just covered by her hair, and the eyeliner is the same, she just has them really faded now, they are still there but hard to see.

angel, I can't see your pics because I'm at work, but the pony you got had better not be the one I was supposed to get.  Not that you have anything to do with what happened way back then, but that would make me so FURIOUS (but not at you!!!) I think I'd have to take a handful of Xanax to calm back down.  That pony is the one and only pony I have ever been scammed out of in all my years of collecting.  I still have all the paperwork and PMs from the member who stole my money.

I posted as you where writing angel, I think it is the same pony. It is a rehair for sure, its odd thou cause it looks like the same kind of purple that was used for factory rehairs??? I have seen brazil peachy and pinkkittywinks starshine in this same purple?? pkw?

These are all the pics I have of "my" Posey.  I will see if I can find the original thread where the former member was asking her veracity but from what I recall at the time she wasn't considered a rehair, which is why I bought her.

Furious doesn't begin to cover how I feel right now.

Man sorry skeen and angel, I wasn't around when you got scammed skeen and I am not a member of the mlptp so cant see your photos but from what I can see from these photos the pony is the same and the pony is certainly a rehair, rehaired from a dolly hospital maybe but nether less still a rehair.

I found a lilac haired Mexican Posey some weeks ago. She had the worst tail rust case I'd ever seen. It was so bad, that while I washed, the hair started breaking. I had to remove the metal thing by cutting the tail from there.

That could be why the hair is coming out, angel.  And if so then yes, you have "my" Posey, and I think it's time to get the mods involved.

Definitely appears to be the same pony. I hope you can all get it sorted out! The old thread even says "Then tied the hair with orange string and an elastic."

mm they reason why I thought it was a rehair is because inside the head it looks like there is white thread but now I am thinking its just the hair and it appears white cause of the flash so maybe not a rehair The weave is the only thing to go by but I cant see that clear enough
